The former Wendy’s was transformed into what may be the greenest and cleanest fast food restaurant in the country. For starters, the restaurant will be converting cooking oil waste to bio-diesel fuel.

All packaging will be made from recycled materials and it uses paper bags instead of plastic. The building is made of recycled materials and uses solar lighting. Even the rain water is captured to water the lawn.

Customer Fred Weinberg said, “The fact that it’s a green KFC makes me feel very good because I’ve been an environmentalist before it was stylish.”
